Space Engineering Services have been successful again this year in being awarded the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Gold Award.
This is the third consecutive year in which we have been awarded the Gold Award, as part of the prestigious annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
Through the scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Dale Nouch, Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to have been recognised again this year by receiving a RoSPA Gold Award. Our OHSAS 18001 accredited health and safety management systems, driven by our dedicated team of health and safety professionals, are fundamental to our work and our commitment to improving health and safety performance across our business.
We take a proactive approach to health and safety management, and have implemented a number of safety campaigns and initiatives over the last 12 months to promote safer working practices. We’re thrilled our continuing efforts have been recognised.”
The RoSPA Awards is celebrating 60 years of presenting highly-regarded and sought after accolades to businesses and organisations that have shown commitment to accident and ill-health prevention.
Julia Small, RoSPA’s Head of Awards and Events, said: “To win an award at such a highly-regarded event as the RoSPA Awards is a great achievement for our winners. It recognises their commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record and raises the bar for other organisations to aspire to.”
